This living, learning, and wellness community provides unique opportunities for students to carefully examine their interests and career options utilizing tremendous on-site resources. In addition to the quality services and programs in all CMU residence halls, the residential college offers these distinctive opportunities:

- A freshman year experience course, Introduction to Health Professions, offering interdisciplinary topics

The Health Professions Residential College is located in Emmons Hall, a short walking distance to the new Health Professions Building and Rose Center / SAC. The Health Professions Building has been recognized as one of the most technologically advanced learning spaces for health professions education in the country.
Emmons Hall is a coed residence hall where men and women live in different suites on the same floor. The four or five person suites have private baths.

Enrolled Students Must Agree to:
- Be serious about their field of study
- Have and maintain a minimum 3.00 grade point average
- Show evidence of community and extracurricular involvement
- Have a signed major or letter of intent by the end of the fall semester
- Become involved in an academically related club or group
- Sign a behavioral agreement with the Office of Residence Life and the College of Health Professions, including agreeing to an alcohol-free environment.
The residents of the Health Professions Residential College believe in and are committed to the following values:
- A healthy Community supports and promotes the success of each individual member through active participation, respect for others, positive relationships, peer mentoring, openness, helpfulness and a spirit of collaboration among all the residents.
- The development of Leadership skills and habits of each resident significantly contribute to the success of the individual, as well as the overall success of the residential program, the groups they choose to become involved with and Central Michigan University.
- High Academic standards encourage students to learn effective study habits and utilize the maximum number of resources to enhance learning and achieve academic success.
- Engaging in Service opportunities broadens the student’s experiential base, supports the local communities, and helps students incorporate volunteerism into their lifestyle.
- Pursuing Scholarly endeavors such as involvement in research and writing contributes to the personal skills and the professional development of the student and models academic excellence.
